Treatment Options

Non-surgical treatment

Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair

Suture anchors are placed in the humeral head, and sutures are passed through the tendon to restore tendon-to-bone contact.
Arthroscopy reduces the need for a large open approach in many cases and allows associated shoulder pathology to be assessed. However, the biological healing of tendon to bone still takes time, so recovery is not immediate.
